Why a DC charger price is quoted per site

A DC fast charger is not a box you plug into a socket. It needs a 3-phase 415 V AC supply sized to its connected load, an earthing pit, a plinth and a cable run from your panel. Two buyers ordering the same model can face very different total costs because one has spare transformer capacity and the other needs an upgrade. A single list price would hide that, so every quote starts with a review of transformer capacity, cable run and civil scope.

What drives the price of a DC fast charger

• Power rating: our range runs from 30 kW to 240 kW. Higher kW means more rectifier modules and a bigger connected load.
• Number of guns: the 30 kW model has a single CCS2 gun; 60 to 240 kW models have two CCS2 guns with dynamic power sharing.
• Your electricity connection: whether your transformer or LT connection already has the spare kVA the model needs.
• Cable run and civil work: distance from the panel, plinth, earthing pit, and optional canopy and bollards.

What every model includes

All models share the same platform: 150 to 1000 V DC output, efficiency above 95.5%, SiC modular rectifiers with N+1 redundancy, IP54 and IK10 outdoor rating, a 10-inch sunlight-readable touchscreen, RFID and UPI QR authentication, a Class 0.5S DC energy meter and OCPP 1.6J and 2.0.1 communication. Drivers pay by scanning a UPI QR code, with no app to download.

Does the quote include GST?

Is a dual-gun charger worth the extra cost?

At busy sites, usually yes. Dual-gun models from 60 kW to 240 kW charge two vehicles at once and split power dynamically, so one bay serves more cars. At a hotel or hospital where cars park for hours and visits are spread out, a single-gun 30 kW model is often enough and needs much less electrical load.

How long after paying will the charger arrive?

Delivery takes 2 to 3 weeks from the date of payment. Payment terms are 80% advance and 20% on dispatch. Start your DISCOM connection, earthing pit, plinth and internet before you order, so the charger can be installed and commissioned soon after it reaches your site.
